7 Hour Challenge Event
Run along the Grand Western Canal nr Tiverton on a flat 6.55 mile out and back.
Complete as many laps as you want in 7 hours, finish at the end of any lap.

Join us at Sampford Peverell near Tiverton, just a couple of minutes from the M5 for our latest fun event, a 7 hour challenge event along the Grand Western Canal, a new stretch of the Canal for Winding Paths.
You have 7 hours to run as many laps as you want, to achieve your chosen distance or even beat your chosen distance! You can stop anytime after just one lap.
Each lap is an out and back, which will make for a very social fun event, as you will see your fellow runners on each lap you do.
Starting at Sampford Peverell, the picturesque route follows the canal to Burlsecombe, where an aid station is located, about a quarter of a mile beyond the aid station (approx 3.3miles) is the turn marshal, here you turn and head back to HQ, where another aid station will be, then you choose to finish here or do another lap, its up to you!
1 Lap = 10k+
2 laps = Half Marathon
4 laps = Marathon
5 Laps or more– Ultramarathon
If you do 2 or 3 laps it will count towards the 100 Half Marathon Club.
If you do 4 laps or more it will count towards the 100 Marathon Club.
Bespoke Medal for everyone that completes at least 1 lap
Choice of Mince Pie, Christmas Cake or Slice of Yule Log at the finish

Christmas Canter Extra Information
The event starts at 8.30am, all solo runners must start at that time.
Your last lap must start before 2.30pm, but you must finish that lap before 3.30pm
Your Race Number must be visible at all times on your front, as we need to write it down at the end of each lap.
You can stop at anytime after 1 lap.
You can take a break at the end of a lap before starting another lap.
When you have finished and want to stop, tell the timing team as soon as your cross the finish lin
